Dr. Yoaz Hendel is the Chairman of the Institute for Zionist Strategies, and served from 2011 to 2012 as Director of Communications for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He is a popular policy analyst with a weekly radio show and newspaper column in Israel, and has received Israel’s most prestigious prizes for his work inside and outside government.

He received his PhD in military history from Tel Aviv University, where he also served as a research fellow at the Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies, as well as the Begin-Sadat Center at Bar Ilan University.
