Tal has been in the real estate industry for over two decades as an investor and operator. He has experience with residential and office properties. Hackmey’s current focus is on multi-family developments.

Tal was born and raised in Israel. Prior to moving to the US, Tal served in the Israeli Defense Forces and graduated Tel Aviv University with a double-major in Accounting and Economics.

The Hackmey family is fifth generation Israeli and Tal’s grandfather founded the Phoenix Assurance Company, which is currently being traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Tal serves on the Board of Directors for various companies owned by the family.

Tal started his involvement with the IAC ten years ago as a co-founder of the IAC Las Vegas council, where he held various leadership positions including chairing the council since 2021.
